The 26th Annual “Mission 10” Run is sponsored by the Hollister Rotary Club at the historic Mission San Juan Bautista. The course takes runners through scenic farmland and the Anzar hills. The 10-mile course starts at 10am. The 5k (3-mile) walk/run starts at 10:15am. The 4th Annual 1 Mile “Kid’s Fun” Run will start at 9am.
Pre-registration is $20 and same day registration is $25. Kid’s Fun Run is only $5 (without T-shirt), or $12 for three or more kids in the same family. Race day registration will start at 8am. For more info. Please visit

August 30 Aromas Day presented by the Aromas Hills Artisans. Enjoy a ‘Day in the Country!’ Start the day with a country-style breakfast at the Aromas Grange. Breakfast is served from 7am to 11am. At 9am the street fair opens with Art in the Park, featuring the Aromas Hills Artisans, Pony Rides, and Farm Animal Petting Zoo.  There are games for the kids, the popular rock-climbing wall, and music all day at the bandstand. The Parade is at 2pm and not to be missed!  This alcohol free event is fun for the whole family. Just follow the signs to the off-site parking lot and get a free ride on the horse-drawn wagon that will bring you to the heart of town.
